To Niche or Not to Niche, that is the Question!?!

£16.00

mmmm or is it?

I have a love hate relationship with this term. I want to unpick it for you. Do you need to niche? What does it even mean to niche? Why do we say “niche down?” If you do niche, how does your marketing actually change?

In this practical but thoughtful masterclass, let’s dive into this topic so you have a proper understanding of what it means to define a category, to carve out a niche, and how to define yourself.

In this masterclass, we’ll explore:

  • What does “niching” actually mean? And why does everyone keep telling you to do it?

  • Do you really need a niche? Or can you build a successful business without one?

  • The difference between a niche, a category and a speciality … because they’re not quite the same thing.

  • How to carve out your own space without feeling like you’re putting yourself in a tiny box.

  • Who are you actually trying to be known for? And how do you define that?

  • How your niche affects your marketing … from your website and SEO to your social media and messaging.

  • What happens when your offering is broad? And how can you create clarity without cutting away everything you love?

  • How to communicate what makes you different without resorting to awkward marketing speak.

  • Practical exercises to help you start defining your own category and positioning.

I have many an opinion on this topic. I have a niche business. But I am a generalist by trade. I want to talk you through all the elements so you can make intelligent decisions for your business.

Why Train with Me?

It’s a fair question. I want you to be asking this!

This is my jam, 100% of the time.

There is a lot of free training out there. You are constantly being fed tips, tricks and “must-do” strategies.

Here’s the difference.

Marketing is not a side interest for me. It is my career. My craft. The thing I have done, full time, for my entire working life.

In addition to my “day job”, I have run a yoga studio for nine years. Not a short stint. Not covering for someone. Nine years of weekly classes, bookings, emails, cancellations, launches, tech issues and real-life logistics. Figuring it out every single time.

Every week I am doing the tasks I teach you. Yes, even on Christmas Eve.

I’m so committed to helping you

Can you imagine how many newsletters I have written? How many bookings I have moved? How many systems I have tested and refined? Thousands. And that is before we even get to the hundreds of teachers I support through Santosha Marketing. From those teaching one class a week in a village hall to studios managing hundreds of classes.

This is not theory. It is lived experience.

My commitment is to give you advice that is excellent, practical and informed.

I am always studying!

I was accredited by Google Squared Digital Marketing Academy early in my career. I worked as a Head of Marketing, and then as a Consultant for leading tech companies in London for many years. I hold a Diploma in Professional Sales. I have completed hundreds of hours of continued professional development in marketing and SEO and I am currently training to become Meta Ads Certified.

Alongside that, I am a 200 hour yoga teacher, with additional specialist training in breathwork and pranayama, and currently doing 100 hours of CPD in nervous system response.

I understand marketing.

And I understand yoga teachers.

That combination matters.
