Hello, I’m Laura, Founder of Santosha Marketing.
I didn’t set out to work in marketing for yoga and wellbeing businesses, for years I had a successful corporate career — it unfolded naturally, shaped by my own journey. I’ve always loved movement and stillness in equal measure: yoga, qigong, pilates, the deep rest of a sound bath. Those practices ground me, and they’ve taught me the value of slowing down, of listening, of living in a way that feels true.
Becoming a mum shifted my world completely. My son is autistic and needs life at a gentler pace, and that’s taught me so much about patience, empathy, and creating space for people to be exactly as they are. It’s also deepened my commitment to living authentically — and to supporting others who want to do the same.
Professionally, I’ve spent over thirteen years running marketing for more than 100 organisations, from building websites to coordinating large-scale events. This is my craft.
Alongside that, I’ve co-run a thriving yoga studio and retreat programme with my mum and sister for the past eight years. I know, first-hand, the love, energy and resilience it takes to build a wellbeing business that’s rooted in community. It’s a huge part of my life, and I’m the one in the weeds (so to speak), making website updates, sending newsletters, fixing booking system queries. I do it every day.
I’m also a qualified yoga teacher, with a particular focus on pranayama and nervous system regulation. That background shapes how I work: calm, kind, thoughtful, and always grounded in yoga philosophy.
What I’m most passionate about is helping small and growing wellbeing businesses feel empowered with their marketing. Many of my clients are women where this is a second (or 3rd, 4th, 5th!) career change. They know they want to help people but this side of the business is stressful and they feel out of their depth. My ethos is simple: to build your confidence, be a supportive (but sensible) sounding board, and help you make smart, sustainable decisions.
I truly believe the world needs more people whose purpose is to help others feel happy, healthy and whole. I believe in the work you’re doing — and I’d love to help you succeed.
My Loves.
Being with my little Alfie.
Being at my family yoga studio.
Being with my lovely husband.
My Credentials.
I’ve always loved marketing and business, even from a young age I would want the jewellery stall at my Gran’s church to be the most profitable and I’d give the candidates on the apprentice a run for their money at 8 years old! Despite this I came quite accidentally to a marketing career in my early-twenties, but I knew straight away it just made sense. By my mid-twenties I was managing global teams, and by my late twenties I’d launched my own consultancy. It was all a bit of a whirlwind really! I feel like I’ve finally found my passion now working with yoga + pilates teachers and wellness business owners. I am content.

What’s your favourite part of Marketing?
I love bringing a brand to life. That moment when you really feel like you’ve captured the spirit of what the owner wants to convey is really special. Whether that’s through content, the website or helping to refine the strategy. It’s a great moment!
What are you most proud of at work?
I’m proud to have taken a leap of faith into an area that I love (working with yoga, pilates & wellbeing experts). This was a big decision as I’d worked in tech marketing for my entire career and I had a successful consultancy business but I just knew I had to do it.
Favourite things to do?
I love to walk in the woods with my son and see the light through the trees. When it’s time to relax I LOVE Sound Baths, Spas and Skincare… I think the three S’s are the bees knees! I’m a big fan of a history podcast and I particularly love London cultural history (what I did my Masters on in fact).
